Overview

Zapier links Onset to thousands of other tools without writing any code. Post new release notes to a channel your team already reads, log them in a spreadsheet, publish drafts on a schedule, or add subscribers from the forms and CRMs you already use.

How it works

Onset triggers a Zap the moment a release note is created or a subscriber signs up, and Zapier passes the details on to whichever app you picked. Zaps can run the other way too — create, update, or publish a release note in Onset, or add a subscriber from anything Zapier connects to. Triggers fire on Onset webhooks, so they run within seconds rather than on a polling interval.

Setup Instructions

An admin can follow these steps to connect your Onset and Zapier accounts:

  1. Go to SettingsDevelopersAPI Keys in your workspace and create a key.
  2. Go to SettingsIntegrations and click Connect on Zapier to open the Onset app.
  3. Paste your API key when Zapier asks you to sign in to Onset.
  4. Pick a trigger or action and build your Zap.
